Grace Clinic was founded in October of 2023 by Sheila Young, FNP-BC, with a vision to provide compassionate, high-quality healthcare to the people in the Greater Fifth Ward community. Since then, we have remained steadfast in our goal to deliver personalized care that meets the unique needs of each of our patients.

In just a short time, Grace Clinic has grown to offer a range of primary care services, including routine checkups, DOT exams, physicals, and weight management services, while also laying the groundwork to introduce specialized services like IV hydration therapy, hormone replacement therapy, and mental health care. We are dedicated to expanding our services to ensure that our patients have access to the comprehensive care they deserve. We are passionate about making a difference in the lives of our patients, and we are proud to be a trusted healthcare provider for the families and individuals in our community.

Sheila Young, FNP-BC, is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and the founder of Grace Clinic in Houston, Texas. Sheila’s journey as a Nurse Practitioner began with her Master’s Degree in Family Nursing from South University, which she completed in 2016. With a passion for serving families and individuals, Sheila has dedicated her career to primary care and has specialized certifications in DOT exams and Nexplanon insertion.
Her professional path includes roles such as a school nurse for nearly 30 years, a pediatric private duty nurse, and a family nurse practitioner at various medical practices. From 2016 to 2021, she served as the Clinical Director at CKC Family Matters, LLC, and later worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Integranet Health and Clinica Araja, LLC.
Most recently, Sheila founded Grace Clinic in 2023, a dream come true for her that allows her to provide optimal healthcare to her community every day. Sheila believes in a holistic approach to healthcare, emphasizing the importance of patient education, collaboration, and fostering a strong patient-provider alliance. She is dedicated to helping her patients achieve optimal health and live their best lives.
Outside of her professional life, Sheila is a proud mother of three children and a grandmother to two. She enjoys playing the piano, traveling, and cooking for her family. Sheila is also an active member of several professional organizations, both locally and nationally, and continues to advance her knowledge and skills in healthcare.
